Ryan's 3rd grade Atlanta trip!

Tuesday, 3.28.17
3rd grade field trip!
My dependents for the day - Ryan and his best bud Aaron

this cracked me up.  They drew a checkers board and then moved their "pieces" by erasing and redrawing them

First stop - the capital building!
Ryan's class is the pale green shirts, he's on the far left.
Governor Deal and Brandon Beach!
Took me awhile to figure out the guy on the left - he's Clark's grandpa, some sort of real estate zoning guy.  And the reason we were able to get the photo op!  Nice to know people :)  Clark's standing with the flag, he was on Ryan's basketball team

With Ryan, Aaron, and Ryan G

Danielle photobombed us!  Love this pic, but what you can't tell is we took it looking up at the awesome ceiling of the capital.  Oh well.

It was a long and crazy and exhausting day, but I really did enjoy hanging out with this guy and his awesome buds

these kids and their photobombs! Hi Bailey!
Hopefully it's not disrespectful or rude or anything to dab on the capital stairs :)

Second stop - the Varsity
He did it - the triple stack bacon cheeseburger at the Varsity.
And Ryan G photobombs.

Next stop - the world of Coke
Ryan's first Coke and unfortunately he liked it!

the 4d movie with Mrs. Dotson

Who thought letting a bunch of third graders loose in the Coke tasting room was a good idea?!

Final stop - the Aquarium
in between Coke and the aquarium, I officially accepted Bailey as my responsibility.
I was beginning to realize I couldn't have kept her away even if I wanted to, but luckily she's super sweet.
AJ, Bailey, Aaron, Ryan

these three overachieving AIMers took the scavenger hunt that Mrs Dotson gave them very seriously.

the month of March in the year of 2017

Who doesn't love Dr Seuss and Things 1 and 2?!

this girl loves all animals, but esp of course her Maya.  it was storming pretty hard and Maya was shaking ...
"Maya it is okay. It is just rain and it outside. You don't get wet."

small group GNO to Snug in downtown Canton, so much fun!

Abbys, Lyla, Chloe, Mari

Sat, 3.4. - First baseball game of the spring 2017 season!
Ryan Chase, #2, of the 9/10 Macedonia Braves!
First pitch of his career!!!
He faced four batters in his first inning :
1) Strike out
2) walk
3) ground out to first (runner advanced to second)
4) strike out.

Cooper E, one of Ryan's best buds, is on the same team.  This is not only super fun, it's also super convenient for the parents :)
Like this night, when Cooper's parents had a work party, and we were able to take him to the game and Las Palmas.  Ryan has met his match!!  These two put away some tacos!!

aren't they just the most adorable little things?!?!!
Wednesday, 3.8.17 - Alice, Couper, and Chloe
I just LOVE these sweet little preschool best friends!  We have had a few after-preschool playdates and they're so fun.  I hate that they'll all go different directions next year :(

Pajama Sunday and a very light volunteer day, thankfully we found some adults to sing, but these two were willing :)

we love Kayla and Kinsley!

Grandpa!

Monday morning carline free time :)
"Now can you send that one to Daddy?  I'll get ready for the next one"
And be sure to check out the hand on the hip!
[No, I don't have four pair of sunglasses!  I have one.]

Love my Friday mornings with this girlie!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Three of my favorite ladies - Alyson, Sarah, and Sonia
celebrating Alyson's 40th!

Sunday, 3.19 - our den used our popcorn dollars to purchase items to fill smile bags that we'll deliver to Scottish Rite in April!

it was a dark and stormy night
seriously, it was really bad!  the power went out, and we ended our small group early when babysitters started calling with crying kids :(  I took Abby in late the next morning, and there were so many tardies because of the late night, that the principal didn't count them!

Addie rides to speech and preschool with us on Mondays and Wednesdays.  We jam to "the Elsa song" on repeat Every single time.  I know I'm going to miss this time next year!

the Chase family woodworkers
Ryan's red table for his Cub Scout badge, which inspired us to build this bench for Grandma's birthday

Couper and Chloe
Abby was giving "free" piggy back rides.  Couper's mom said he [the oldest in his family] was probably in Heaven with the big kids, but honestly, both Ryan and Abby seemed to really enjoy having him around too!
 Couper the 4yr old t-ball player ...
"step back everyone, I'll show you how it's done!!"
Ryan was very patient with Couper, I was very proud of him :)

Headed to Grandma's for her 60th birthday!

Friday morning bike ride with my kids and my parents, not a bad way to start the day!
Coleson was already in Orlando for work, I picked him up that afternoon
Saturday - Nine riders and two stowaways in my trailer :)
Aunt Lucinda and Uncle John surprised Mom by showing up for brunch on Saturday morning!

Mom's surprise dinner!!

the birthday girl with her grandbabies

Laura catered dinner at her house Saturday night, yumm!  Eleanore and daughter Linda and DIL Tina joined us, the surprises keep coming!
