September of 2017

This girl starts parkour today!
Upper body is where my little monkey excels, she can make it all the way across the ropes
Thursday parkour - we did a five class groupon

Happy Fall[ish!] Friday!!

Fall picture day :)

These two are taking piano lessons with Ms Sarah Allen.
They're doing great!  Ryan's always practicing, love it.

Cutest Webelo in the pack!

This makes my heart happy!!
"I love you so much Love Abby.
You're the best sister ever Love Abby."
Abby does stuff like this all the time :)

HURRICANE IRMA
The kiddos had Monday[9.11] and Tuesday[9.12] off from school thanks to the hurricane.
Monday night Monopoly, and then since Daddy was at a conference, we girls had a sleepover in my room
[Ryan thought he'd sleep better in his own bed, probably true!]

To prevent cabin fever, we went out to Mellow Mushroom on Tuesday with the Conleys.  We had to turn twice for road closures.  Ryan went home with them and we girlies ventured out for a walk.
It wasn't bad at all where we live.

first day of work - newest MES lunch lady, eekk

Sooo excited about the dress-up clothes we bought from Ms. Jenn
sneak peek - Abby's going to be Laura Ingalls Wilder for Halloween, one costume down!

We Gage-sat for two weeks followed immediately by Hank for another week.

FALL BREAK 2017
we discovered the skate park at the new Veteran's Park and went three days in a row!

parkour monkey at the playground

These two played so well together

Chloe rockin' the training wheels!
**The first day we went, Monday, Chloe's friend Miller from school also happened to be there, and they were inseperable.  He's a cutie, I think Chloe might be the boy-crazy one in the family, eekk!

**The first two days weren't crowded at all, Wednesday was more so.  But I have to say, I was so happily surprised by how nice everyone was to my little guys.  They were all checking on everyone if someone fell, and someone helped Chloe up when her bike fell.

9.19.17 - Braves game!
Daddy and Ryan - Mr. Dan, Gracie, and Hannah

small group GNO to Las Palmas
me, Brittany, Katie, Sarah, Carlynn

We got our house painted!  To say it was a mess would be an understatement!!
Thankful for a wonderful dinner and football watching evening away at the Houlihans' house.
We have the best neighbors!!

Hat day.  Love that she still loves
and wears her Great-Grandma's hat

Mari, Mommy, Chloe, Grandma
Hat day also happened to be kindergarten Johnny Appleseed day
Centers fun in Mrs. Mikes's class
and Grandma got to come too!  They were in town for Ryan's bday.

Saturday also included an afternoon snack of s'mores around the outdoor firepit.
And in the evening, we cleaned up and settled in for football watching.

Sunday!
a super fun 4ish mile hike

the kids are getting pretty good at taking pictures of us too :)

us girls
and no, she's not eating Pringles, they're all gone, she's using the container for her collections!

Chloe and I had fun finding these letters on our hike

back to the creek!

two little adventurers
*This was when the kiddos and I walked up the creek exploring.  And I slipped and fell and bruised my knee and scratched up my wrist.  And when Abby wrote about this trip in school a month or so later, the two things she included in her story were the alligator float and Mommy falling!
**Side note, that totally reminds me of when we took a trip to Destin when the kids were really little, and Ryan wrote about going to WhataBurger when he got back to school.  All the fun and crazy things we do, and it's usually the simple things they remember, probably a good life lesson in there somewhere!

ET phone home

:: one more stroll before we left on Monday ::

The old federal wagon road runs through the 40acre property

I love us!!
