February Break 2017

Friday::

Grandma took the girls swimming on Friday 

And Grandpa took Ryan to a spring training game

which meant a date walk to McDonald's for ice cream for us!!  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

very very surreal having your nine year old drive you up and down the cul-de-sac, eekk!

Saturday, Gasparilla race

 I swear there's nothing better then a hot cup of coffee after running!
Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for getting our three guys up and ready so Coleson could come down early with me!
After my 15k, the whole Crouse family walked the 5k together - well, Ryan took off at full speed!  He finished in 29 something minutes!  And that includes walking with us initially and then running circles around Daddy before taking off.  I wish he'd actually run with me and train, he's so fast!

Chloe caught a stomach bug and was sick for four days.  Poor thing!!!  she's soo pitiful, it breaks my heart!

Sunday, 2.12.17 - Cub Scouts Blue and Gold Banquet, hosted by the Bears.  Yep, we're Bears this year.  It was a great event if I do say so myself, but soo relieved it's over!!

Danielle Shakespeare, me, and Jennifer Gilmore - even though party-planning is NOT my cup of tea, these ladies were so great to work with!!

we hired a balloon artist.  and had it catered by Waffle House.  and had a photobooth and a cake contest.  I must say, we set the bar pretty high for next year's third graders, hehe :)

 Monday, 2.13.17 - Daddy/ Daughter Valentine's Day at the school
She was so excited waiting on Daddy to get home from work, I thought she was going to bounce off the walls!

a wonderfully warm and sunny Sunday of yardwork followed by grilling out with awesome neighbor-friends.  The girls all squished together on the same side of the table :)  Ryan enjoyed eating by himself all the way on the other side of the porch, poor boy!

February 1st, 2017

So I decided to just give February 1st it's own post instead of just trying to pick a couple pictures.  I took a lot of pictures that day and most of them were super cute :)  It was pajama day at preschool for Chloe, and we stopped at the Woodmont playground afterwards to play with Josh.  Look at that sweet little face!!

When the bigs got home, we had a fun playdate with the Conleys!
we got Culver's ice cream to go - yumm!!!  So exciting to have a new dining option in our small town ;) I may or not have gone three times in the first week or so it was open!
Then we went to a nearby playground... where's an amazing hiking trail behind the new[ish] playground at the south end of Harmony.  We had so much fun!
