I'm a Soccer Mom!

Ryan had his first soccer "game" on Saturday.  I wasn't sure who was more excited about it, him or me :)  We wrote soccer and drew a soccer ball on his calendar for the 10th when we changed it to March and he's been counting down the days!  His team includes his friends/ neighbors Anna Wynn & Sam and Daddy is the assistant coach.  The head coach, Coach Alan, was great too, so we're looking forward to a super fun season. 

The games are literally three minutes away at the elementary school and are Saturday mornings for the next couple of months.  They spend the first half hour practicing and then they play a little scrimmage "game" against one of the other pre-k teams.  There's no score keeping or anything like that; it's more of just keeping the ball in bounds and the kids running in the right direction!  Ryan did so well, he was so confident, and had a blast.  And I must confess I love being a soccer mom!
