October 2016, part one

Sarah is 40!!!  Happy Birthday!
a girls weekend on Lake Lanier!

Saturday morning soccer while I was at the lake.
Thanks to Cooper's mommy for this adorable photo of these two 'just talking' to quote Cooper
Cooper and Chloe -  love that these two have hit it off just as well as Abby and Jackson have, such a sweet family!

the back corner of our yard.
I wasn't a big fan of the hill in the middle of the yard at first, but it is nice that it blocks the view.  The kids have this semi-permanent fort going on and since we can't see it from the back porch, they don't have to keep it looking nice & clean back there :)
Seeing them playing with neighbors and exploring and being creative and love being outside is AWESOME!!

Tues, 10.4.16-   Hayride day with my Chlo-Chlo
love this day!  I still can't process that this is the last go-around for all the preschool events.

 Chloe and her bff "CouperWest"
[there's another Cooper in her class this year, so despite knowing her Couper for three years,
she now calls him "CouperWest" all run together :)]
Josh, Chloe, Couper, and Alice
have I ever mentioned how awesome Chloe's preschool and all her friends are?!

Donuts with Dad [grandpa!].
Thanks for visiting us and for joining Chloe at preschool!

he's a wee bit aggressive on the basepath :)

bffs Lyla and Abby
they planned this cute matching outfit and Sonia & I were able to get this photo while we were up at school for lunch

after lunch with all our big friends, I took Chloe out since I'm not a fan of the elementary school cafeteria.  But Chloe had her heart set on McDonald's.  I might have been better off eating at school!
Love her kids' meal mask though!

Granddaddy and Grandma Jo-Ann are here!
Saturday morning soccer games with Coach Daddy

Three generations of scouts!
Daddy, Uncle Tyler, Granddaddy, and Great-Uncle Rick are all Eagle Scouts

Happy [64th] birthday Granddaddy!

funny faces with Ryan :)

carline selfie.  I actually think it was to show off our stripes.

a Thursday afternoon hike with my kiddos!
Mommy needed a break from the routine :)

Mari, Zoey, and Chloe
hooray for other four year olds in the neighborhood

Oakley, Mari, Chloe, and Abby
Coleson and Ryan had left already for cub scout camping, so it was a girlie afternoon/evening!
I didn't get any pictures with them, but Sonia and Lyla joined us for our girls' night, and we painted toenails - and I think watched a movie?

pigtail braids for soccer!  Is this where it all started?!

Aiden, Abby, and Jackson - the three left from our original team.
And in all honesty, they really are the best three :)

The boys Cub Scout camping!
the girls and I joined them for the second night - after our girls' night and soccer fun :)

Chloe picked out her hair and bows, and we dressed around that.  She looked so cute, that she posed for a picture.  And then we got into the car and saw the reminder....
... that it was football day at preschool.  So here's outfit #2, but we still made the super cute bows work :)

October 20th - after school adventure with the Conleys - Menchie's for snack
and the coolest playground ever!  check out the roller coaster swing!
everybody but Chloe tried it, even Alyson & I, despite the lack of photographic proof.  there is a video somewhere though ;)
This is also the infamous day that at least one, but I think both, of the Conley boys threw up in my van!  Hehe!

and then we went to Dylan and Grant's tournament game
[Coleson was working late for something or another, so we made a whole afternoon/evening out of it]
Seth, Ryan, Max Lewis, Abs, Chloe
Ryan ran scoreboard the whole game :)
