Going public

Alrighty, I think I've got this thing figured out, so it's about time I let everyone know this blog exists. Hopefully friends and family will be able to find their way here easily enough and see what's going on in our lives.

Ryan is doing great. Hard to believe he's already seven months old! He's been such a joy and blessing. Everyday is new and exciting. He's finally on a pretty set schedule and that has been wonderful. He's been sleeping through the night for about a month now. I have no idea how I made it six months with as little sleep as I did! I am finally starting to feel like a human again! Ryan goes to bed about 8:00 at night and sleeps straight until somewhere between 7-8 the next morning. After he wakes up, he nurses and then he gets a bath and I get a shower and we get ready for the day. He naps again about 10:00 for hopefully two hours, but that varies greatly. He's been eating two solid meals - about 1:00 and 6:00. He loves everything we offer him! The highlights have been squash, mixed veggies, and of course the apples that Grandma makes him. Our days vary - babysitting Ryan's little friend Madeleine, running errands, cleaning the house, visiting friends, playing and reading, practicing sitting up, etc.
