Stop and smell the roses

Yesterday Ryan and I had a very nice day. Daddy was at work and I did not have to babysit, so we spent the whole day just hanging out and doing Ryan -things. I didn't worry about the house or cooking dinner (which I regretted at 8:00 when I was famished and ate bagel bites and crackers). We started the day by lounging on the floor in Ryan's room. I read him some books, although I had trouble getting him to look at the pictures because he kept rolling away. Ryan also practiced on his piano for quite a while. And we hung out with Sampson and Nellie too. Sammy just loves his baby! And Ryan loves his Sammy! There are some cute pictures of the best buds on my photo album. Ryan also got his first phone yesterday. He loves my phone, but after he managed to call Grandma, hang up on Grandma, and then turn off my phone, I decided we had to do something. So I dug out my old, inactive phone and wiped it down for him. So yes, at not even 8 months old, Ryan has his very own Verizon cellphone.
